Proskauer Rose Speeds Up New Business Review and Acceptance with Frayman Group’s Mobile Conflicts Reporting

New York City — (February 2, 2010) – The Frayman Group (TFG), a leading provider of risk management software and services for law firms, today announced that international law firm Proskauer Rose LLP (Proskauer) has enhanced its new business review and approval process by implementing a firm-wide mobile conflicts reporting capability. This will enable the Firm’s lawyers to easily review and respond to conflicts reports via their Blackberry® handheld devices.
Founded in 1875, Proskauer made a strategic decision to modernize its conflicts clearance process to streamline report routing and approvals, thereby reducing lawyer time spent reviewing voluminous reports, and recognizing that today’s workforce needs to conduct business via email inboxes, not office desk inboxes.
TFG’s risk management consulting division developed Proskauer’s custom mobile conflicts reporting capability, which integrates with the Firm’s reliable LegalKEY® Conflicts Management system and TFG’s Compliguard™ Flow New Business Intake system.
The newly rolled-out mobile conflicts reporting functionality enables Proskauer’s conflicts analysts to perform searches using LegalKEY and then disseminate results, using TFG’s custom-developed mobile reports, to the requesting lawyer and other involved lawyers via email in a format specifically-designed for the Blackberry. The reports leverage smart logic to provide relevant results that prioritize hits and specify required action, tailored to the small screen real estate of the Blackberry smartphone. The new mobile conflicts reporting capabilities enable the firm to clear conflicts faster, thereby improving the Firm’s competitive edge and increasing the likelihood of engaging in billable work sooner.
